Porsche 911 2.7L Carrera RS sells for $836,300

The Artcurial Motorcars Le Mans Classic auction sold a 911 2.7L Carrera RS on the 5th of July, 2014 for GB£461,428.

This particular model of Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS was a special version that was built in order to homologate the 911 for Group 4 circuit racing. The 2.7 version was more potent in virtually every area of performance, handling and braking. Only 500 cars were built.
