And then there were none !..................(Lotus Esprit's)

No more Esprit's for sale on Carsales.com.au !........... For the first time in 11 years.

No doubt driven by the rapidly rising prices of Lotus Esprit's in general, there are now NO Lotus Esprit's for sale on Carsales.com.au, Australia's leading car sales website. This is the first time to have occurred in 11 years. Here is why :

Now this car is of course Left Hand Drive, and as we know, RHD cars that are located in the United Kingdom are always worth more to the Right Hand Drive UK market. This car is priced at £75,000 (AU$141,500), and the same company has several other examples of other Lotus Esprit's for similar amounts, including another at £65,000. There are two (2) V8's on Car and Classic for lower prices, although one is CAT D (damaged and repaired car listed on HPI), and the other is another LHD car.

A quick glance at Classic and Sportscar ( another good UK guide of prices around Europe) reveals that the black LHD Lotus Esprit S1 (1977) at Autosport Designs in New York is priced at US$95,000 (AU$123,000) and for a very good reason, particularly given the mileage. These cars are on the rise........fast, as we said they would in previous Blog Article's (please check back across the last few months).

There are several other cars that are doing similar things, which we also predicted recently, albeit not within our Blogs, as many of our buying group are involved in these cars. Please call if you wish to join our buying group, and take advantage of driving cars that rise in value as you drive them............ all the time. We look after these cars too, by restoring and storing them also, because........... we LOVE them !!.

Lotus Esprit V8 Twin Turbo. The Ultimate road car.

Has the boom ended ?. No, not for the right cars, and certainly not in Australia where it is just beginning.
