From GB£20K (AU$35,900) to GB£70K (AU$125,900) in four years for the Porsche 930 Turbo

Porsche 930 Turbo rises from GB£20K (AU$35,900) to GB£70K (125,700) in just 4 years

As reported in the October, 2014 edition of Classic Cars Magazine that has just hit the shelves in the U.K., the prices of Porsche 930 Turbo's have finally caught up to where they should have been.

In the " Market Watch " segment on page 32, a graph clearly shows the meteoric rise of these cars recently. After remaining reasonably flat for almost 20 years, these cars were quite a bargain up until 4 years ago, when their correction began. in 2010 GB£25,000 ( AU$44,880 ) would have bought you a lovely 930 Turbo, whereas now the same car is now almost triple that amount, sitting at GB£70,000 ( AU$125,670 ).

The serious collector's money is reported to be heading towards the early 3.0 models, as the driving experience is far more raw and elemental. In addition, the later 3.3 litre models that were built from 1978 onwards were also manufactured in 3 times the quantity, making them far less collectable. Whilst the two models were much closer in value before 2010, the 3.0 version is now the runaway earner, and is on a serous upward trajectory. Get one now and enjoy the ride !.
