Largest number of " Barn Finds"  ever sold

The largest number of " Barn Find " Classic Cars went on sale recently at the NEC, in Birmingham in the United Kingdom. There were over GB£1 Million worth of unrestored vehicles on sale, along with all of the advice and assistance that is required to turn these neglected beauties back into highly sought after, very valuable Classic Cars.

There was the 1981 Jaguar Sovereign that featured in the hit television series " Minder " that sold for GB£13,500 ( AU$24,500 ), as well as the 1969 Morris milk float that collected GB£2000 ( AU$3630 ). This show had the greatest number of forgotten Classic's ever assembled in one place, and drew a crowd of thousands. The show was hosted by one of the many weekly newspapers that feature Classic Cars in Europe, being  " Practical Classics ", and David Hopkins, the editor of the paper said that the event was " Part Classic Show, part tutorial, part theatre, and part celeb-fest ". The show had many celebrities from many of the television shows that are currently showing on British screens, and many of them were also on hand to give valuable tips on how to restore your chosen Classic.

The show comes as part of the boom in Classic Car awareness and growth in prices, and forms part of the movement. New Classic Car Shows continue to appear almost weekly, with thousands of people flocking to see the wonders on offer, and hopefully to bag a bargain. Many Car Clubs also became involved with this show, which undoubtedly swelled interest.
