The Aston Martin frenzy continues

As reported in the Classic Car weekly editon of the 30th of July, 2014, the Aston Martin frenzy is continuing, and widening it's net.

Whilst the Aston Martin DB6 is more affordable than the DB5 equivalent, the prices can still vary widely. Never was this better displayed than at the Aston Martin Works sale that was held in May in the United Kingdom, when a superb and very original 1970 DB6 Mk2 was sold for the very sensible and modest figure of £169,500 ( AU$307,065 ). At the other end of the scale was a 1969 DB5 MKI Volante, which sold for £539,000 ( AU$ 964,221 ), as there were just 140 built.

Now no Aston Martin DB6 is cheap, although clearly one that is less rare may well be a  more achievable aim for many people that want to climb onto the Aston Martin bandwagon. For some, the move towards the next cab off the rank, the DB7 may well prove to be a wiser move, as they have only just begun their rise to stardom, having only appreciated by 33% in the last 8 months.
