The one that got away............

There is one car that we missed in 2015.

Of all the many masive wins that we had with buying all of the right Classic Cars all of the time, we missed one car.

Whilst we were out running all over the world picking up Porsche 911T's, E's, S's, and 930 Turbo's, we foolishly neglected one car that tripled in value over the last 12 months. It was the unloved, forgotten 911 that is far from ''special'' in any way, as it is heavier than all of the earlier Porsche's, does not perform very well, has an average interior, and was produced in too higher numbers.

This car is the 911 SC, and we have to say that we totally discounted it as a car that would never ever go anywhere. History has proved us to be wrong on all counts with this car.

Whilst some of the many 911 SC's that wes sent to the United Kingdom were very nice in condition, and the Cabriolet's even looked mildly appealing, we initially struggled to get strong returns on them, and so we discounted them, and removed them from our purchase list.

In the meantime, people in Australia who had been left behind with the prices of 911T's, E's, and S's turned to the 911 SC as the only answer to getting into the market. As a result, the cars that we purchased last year for AU$18-22,000, which includes the Cabriolet in the picture that we bought for AU$24,500. ALL of these cars are now all sitting at AU$65-95,000. We should have bought 10 of them, as we do with all of our other cars !.

Oh well, the bad news is that we missed out on one model of Classic Car. The good news is that we are now onto the final forgotten Porsche, and we are buying loads of them !..................and they are just about to go ballistic !.

Happy buying !
