Undriven Triumph Stag sets new price benchmark

Unused Truimph Stag sets new price benchmark

A dealership in the United Kingdom has unearthed a real gem, in the shape of a 1977 Truimph Stag with just 19 miles on the odometer. The car is in the showroom of Cherished Classic Cars at Melton Mowbray, and has never ever been registered. The lovely Inca yellow car had never been used, and was part of a Classic Car collection, and is effectively brand new. The car has been started and run regularly, moved around a little before going back on blocks for safe storage. The car is being offered for sale for the benchmark price of GB£28,000 ( AUD $50,000), and will now cause all Triumph Stag's to rise in value almost instantly.

Triumph Stag's had already seen rises in their base valuation as from February, 2014, when stories of great Stag's began hitting publications such as Classic Car Weekly, which is one of the leaders of the massive and growing Classic Car newspaper sector. Whereas a good Stag could be purchased late last year ( 2013 ) for around GB£5,000, it is now clear that even a reasonable example cannot be purchased for much less than GB£10,000, which represents a doubling of values in just 6 months. Although this is quite normal when a car is rediscovered, there were many that felt that the lovely lines of the Triumph Stag may never assist the marque is finally realising it's true value. For all of those owners of restored or genuine original Stag's, your time has come !!.
