This car is one of the very, very rare 1966 Alfa Romeo Sprint's that was sold new as a RHD car. It is one of a kind, and is finished in red with the original black leather interior. The car requires a total restoration. The body was designed by Bertone, and this is one of a handful of these cars still remaining in the world. A very unique motor car with good performance and handling. The car was originally a total pleasure to drive.
The Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint was Alfa's six-cylinder flagship from 1961 to 1968, known as the 106 series. It has now become historically significant because of the inclusion of the inline six-cylinder engine having twin overhead camshafts, which had been the traditional Alfa Romeo engine configuration since the 1920s. Following this model came a whole new range of four-cylinder engined cars from Alfa Romeo, as the factory orientated its production towards more economical mass-produced car models after the World War 2.
Own a real piece of History that appreciates in value from the moment that you purchase it, and then restore it...........
