As we all know Australian property prices are on the long downhill road..........
For a long time now, smart investors have been switching out of property into Collectible Cars, and that trend is now accelerating. Naturally, they all purchased at market bottom many years ago, and have now all sold at the top, 6 months ago now. Within this ANZ report entitled “Australia’s Housing: Downhill until 2024”, several reasons are given for the upcoming long decline. According to the Bank's report, it is reduced borrowing capacity and not just rising interest rates that are killing the market.
Because almost all Collectible Cars are paid for with cash and not borrowings, it is very, very easy to see why this asset class is the one that all savvy investors want to get into, especially those with non-performing SMSF funds which are about to reduce in value significantly.
Hopefully we will not see the same situation as the United Kingdom just experienced, where the Bank of England had to step in to save many of the Pension Funds (like Super Funds), as their property assets dropped below what they owed in borrowings.

The car advertised in the United Kingdom is one such car......

As we all know, the particular and very specific Collectible Cars that we invest in just keep on rising in value, and always will, and so why is that ?.
As this great News Article by Hagerty says, there are many, many reasons for investing in the "right" cars, and for staying away from some of the cars with famous badges. This is vital in building an Investment Portfolio of gold class cars that will never ever fall in value, and so the knowledge of which cars to invest in is critical to the strategy, and is one of many reasons for the value drops of the 1990's. This article goes on to explain why 2022 is so, so very different from that time in history, when greed and high interest rates ruled over us. Call us to find out the 84 makes and models are just about to take off across 2022 and into 2023.
As the "right" Collectible Car just rise and rise, it was great to see this awesome R34 V-Spec come up for sale at a very modest price.
