How the humble Datsun 200B's fortunes have changed !

It was not so very long ago that we used to purchase endless Datsun 1600's for AU$300 and AU$500 each to use for our Rallying.

As time progressed, we switched to Datsun 180B's when 1600's became difficult to acquire, and then later on purchased a 200B for AU$550.

Now, in 2016, a number have recently sold on Carsales.com.au for AU$16,000 up to AU$22,000 which was the one that we owned. Now, whilst our car did have full documentation, was entirely original with no rust and a completely original interior, and has only travelled 44,000 kms, it is still a sharp change from $550 !.

The new owner is ecstatic with her new purchase, and says that she will never sell it. She told us that her parents had owned one in the 1990's, and that she had always wanted to revisit that time, and get into the driver's seat of a car that she used to sit in the rear of.

How times have changed.........
