2019 will be a fantastic year........
Now that we can look back on the year that was, and look ahead to the great prospects in 2019, it would seem that not all asset classes are set to return anything like our chosen group.
For example, today's CoreLogic report that Australian house prices have fallen by the greatest amount since the GFC means that housing is out as an option for the next 10 years or so, as Ryde alone has a reported drop of 13.1% throughout 2018 !. Well, as we all know, it had to happen, and now all of our predictions from July 2016 onwards of a 25% drop in house prices are fast coming true.

Another example would be the Stock Market which has seen unprecendented volatility throughout 2018, more especially towards the end of the year. The forces that will drive the market through 2019 are wide and various : There is the ongoing trade war between the United States and China, there is the Federal Reserve's desire to keep raising interest rates in the U.S.A from historic low's, there is the on again/off again Brexit deal in the United Kingdom, and there is the European issues with ongoing migrant intake, which is affecting the culture in the 28 member countries. All in all, the stock market is not looking at all dependable !.
