From AU$6,000 to AU$15.5 million for this Classic Jaguar
Bernie Ecclestone was a used car dealer prior to running Formula 1 until Liberty Media took over, and this car was sold by him for AU$6,000 (£3500) when he was in his mid-twenties. Even Bernie would have never imagined that it would now be worth an estimated 257,000% more, at £9 Million (AU$15.5 Million), rising strongly as Classic Cars do. Gooding and Co will auction the car on the 19th of January.
