Was it $7,000,000, or $8,000,000 for the Jaguar D-Type at auction in Melbourne yesterday ?
With the rapid rise of the Classic Car Industry in full swing in Australia now, it is little wonder that we are now seeing some heavier cars coming through. This particular Jaguar D-Type did have some particularly good racing heritage, despite claiming the lives of two of it's drivers. Despite solid bids up to $5.5,000,000, the car was passed in at Motorclassica yesterday, although is expected to be sold for the full sum in the coming days.
Jaguar MKII 3.8 Manual with Overdrive's continue their rise well beyond $120,000
The wonderful Jaguar MKII's have continued to rise in value, now a long way up on the $25,000 that they were 2 years ago. These are the cars that everyone wanted at one stage, because they were driven by all the most noteworthy members of the Underwolrd around London, and so people felt like a legend when driving them. London's Underworld used them in getaways, as they were fast for their day.

Lotus Esprit's really hitting their stride now, at AU$163,000 for this beauty.
As all serous collector's know, Lotus's have been seriously undevalued for a long time, and so it's great to watch the tide turning now, as the fraternity comes to grips with cars that have superior driveability to almost every other car.

Whilst a good manual 944 could have been purchased for under $20,000 two years back, now those times are well behind us. Thankfully, we purchased them then !.

From AU$20,000 to almost $100,000 in 2 years
The gorgeous Jaguar XJS Convertible's that we were purchasing for $15,000-20,000 2 years ago have now hit almost $100,000 as we predicted, securing them as having had more growth than Porsche 911 SC's. As the successor to the E-Type, these cars are well placed to see further growth, although the bulk has already taken place. As always, one has to be in BEFORE the growth begins, as we always are. Feel free to join us !.
Jaguar 3.8 MOD's up to oevr AU$100,000 now, as we predicted.
It really has'nt taken that long for the top dog of Jaguar MKII's to make it past $100,000, considering that we were purchasing these cars in pristine condition for just AU$25,000 two years ago. That is some level of appreciation, although not as great as many of the cars that our Investor's purchase and re-sell through us.
