$223 Million worth of Classic Cars sold at auction

$8 Million paid per car at auction

The Valley of the Sun Classic Car extravaganza yielded some solid sales earlier this year, with $223 Million worth of cars being sold, at an average of $100,000 per car.

The sales of Classic cars went all the way up to $8 Million, and was located at the Barrett and Jackson Auction house in Scottsdale. Barrett-Jackson have been very successful and transmit their auctions on television to reach more bidders and allow people to see them in action.

Sales were up $40 Million from last years $184 Million, and according to other leading auction houses, this serves as a real barometer for the year ahead.
