Invest or Restore ?........... A 1969 Aston Martin DBS comes up at Silverstone

A wonderful Aston martin DBS has come up for auction at Silverstone Auctions recently reported by Classic Car Weekly in Britain.

The car may not be a DB4 or a DB5, although they are definitely rising in value fast, now that they have passed the £80,000 mark ( AU$ 144,920 ). This particular example is finished in Platinum White with a red interior, and has been stored since 1978. The car features the original engine and gearbox along with all other parts, and marks a very interesting part of Aston Martin's history.

The car needs a total rebuild, although in this day and age where originality is so very important, we wonder whether this particular motor car will get stored away once more, as an investment alone. More and more cars are now going this way, with the major investment monies that are coming into the industry.
