UP 70% for Jaguar's XJR, with the unique Lotus Europa Twin Cam up 9.4%

UP 70% for Jaguar's XJR, with the unique Lotus Europa Twin Cam up 9.4%

The latest copy of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars Magazine tells the story....

As we have stated so many times in previous News Items, knowing exactly which of 86 different cars will double in price over the next 4 months is our I.P., and why our Investment Cars are always going up, and up, and up in value.

In the April 2022 copy of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars, the always excellent data supplied by Russ Smith on page 17 for the past quarter can be seen once again as Jaguar's wonderful XJR gets remembered, with a 70% rise in value. We can only imagine what will occur when the masses re-discovers the XJ 350 XJR's which were much improved and had the 4.2 V8 powerplant....Supercar performance in a 5 seater sedan !. Another great Jaguar that is well up is the XJS with a 37% gain.

This quarter sees another drop of 7.3% for Ferrari's 330 GTC, along with 8.0% drop for for Maserati's 4.9 SS. That is why we move these cars onto new custodians..........fast !.

Here are a few examples of the cars that people that purchase from advertisements and auctions have been acquiring :

The rising Collectible Cars

Jaguar XJR (XJ300)                                                           Up 70%

Jaguar XJS                                                                            Up 37%

Toyota Celica ST                                                                 Up 44%

It is of course too late to capitalise on the values of these cars, as they will now stop growing, and so we move on into the next 87 great Collectible Investment Cars that will boom in 3-6 months time.

The dropping Collectible Cars

Ferrari 330 GTC                                                                   Down 7.3%

UP 122.6% for our Investor Classic Cars, whilst ordinary mainstream used cars are up 56% since 2020.

by MIKE COSTELLO for CAREXPERT | February 13, 2022

UP 122.6% for our Investor Classic Cars, whilst ordinary mainstream used cars are up 56% since 2020.

The latest statistics from Moody's Analytics show ordinary SUV's and everyday road cars are up 56% on 2020.

As the global chip shortage makes building and acquiring new cars very challenging, everything used is booming due to massive demand and a reduced supply.

Naturally with our cars which were only ever built in limited numbers anyway and are now in huge demand worldwide, we are really struggling to keep up with the flood of new Investors entering what was always going to be the hottest and most exciting asset class.

$2 MILLION for Collectible Japanese Cars ?.

by KRISTIN.V.SHAW for THE DRIVE | February 8, 2022

$2 MILLION for Collectible Japanese Cars ?.

Whilst Hagerty valuations are really only for certain LHD cars in the U.S.A, this prediction from them still makes interesting reading.

As all our readers know, we are always purchasing cars 6-8 months ahead of the market, and this case definitely highlights the modus operandi. Our Collector Contacts have certain very rare and special Japanese Collectible Cars that will never ever be seen on the retail market.

This news article connects with Hagerty, who are predicting that "more mainstream" Collectible Japanese cars such as the gorgeous LFA and certain GT-R's will hit $2 Million in 2022, which will rival the prices already being paid for 2000 GT's etc.

There are currently 5 very special Toyota's, 3 Nissan's and 4 Mazda's that will approach this eyewatering figure, and we are acquiring all of them for our Investors right now. Please feel free to call to find out more about these cars.

Facebook and Spotify crash by 26.2% in one day, as our asset class continues to boom.

Facebook and Spotify crash by 26.2% in one day, as our asset class continues to boom.

Now that global interest rates are set to rise several times during 2022 whilst the Tech boom declines, where will institutions turn for a positive return ?

As Facebook posted the largest ever loss in stock market history today, at just over $230 Billion, how long before the spotlight turns to other Tech companies that have never ever made any money ?

With the BNPL stocks of Afterpay, Zip and others having seen significant value drops, they will now join the already hammered travel and leisure stocks into the doghouse, as a new term emerges in the market....... TINA (There is no alternative). This of course is only for those that have never had the vision to look into other solid asset classes that contain real, tangible assets that can easily be moved from one continent to another to capitalise on value.

Now more than ever it is time to invest in real, tangible, moveable assets...

UP over 90% for a Cortina, and DOWN 12.5 % for Porsche 930 Turbo's for the year.

UP over 90% for a Cortina, and DOWN 12.5 % for Porsche 930 Turbo's for the year.

As we have always said, one has to know what the market will do next.

As we have stated so many times in previous News Items, knowing exactly which cars will rise in value and when is our I.P., and includes plenty of warning regarding cars with famous badges. In the excellent data supplied by Russ Smith on page 17 of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars (March 2022 edition) for the past quarter, we see that the Porsche 930 Turbo is down again...........this time another 2.8% to make it 12.5% for the year. That is why we move these cars onto new custodians..........fast !.

Within the same quarter we also see that the Savage Cortina has come of age, rising over 90% over the period. As everyone know, the Savage V6 1600E was the Holy Grail of all Ford Cortina's with Lotus tuned suspension, a wood grain dash and door cappings with a 3 Litre V6 in the front !. That was pretty revolutionary for 1969, and we were fortunate to have a Father with great taste, that purchased a 1600E brand new at that time.

Notably, it is great to see that the Audi Quattro Coupe is now experiencing a boom (up 50%), and this comes on the back of The Quattro Turbo having become unattainable for many people. It is also great to see that the Fiat 500 is up another 33%, and especially great to see that the Nissan 300ZX has finally been discovered by the retail public, which is better late than never !. Here a few examples of the cars that people that purchase from advertisements and auctions have been acquiring :

The rising Collectible Cars

Ford Cortina Savage MKII estate                                                       Up 99%

Audi Quattro (Coupe)                                                                             Up 30%

Fiat 500                                                                                                         Up 33%

Nissan 300ZX                                                                                               Up 50%

It is of course too late to capitalise on the values of these cars, as they will now stop growing, and so we move on into the next 87 great Collectible Investment Cars that will boom in 3-6 months time.

Used cars rising faster than Bitcoin

Even ordinary used cars are skyrocketing in value, as this Washington Times article highlights.

As Jim Bianco told CNBC’s “Trading Nation” in early January, conventional "bread and butter" secondhand cars rose in value by 20% during the last four months of 2021, while Bitcoin itself rose only 5%.

$800,000 for a 1977 Holden Torana........Who would have ever dreamed of this being possible ?.

As Collectible Car prices rise, rise, and rise again, this SMH article from late last year tells the story.

Many, many, many people have sat back and watched this great coming of age for Collectible Cars in Australia.

A few smart ones have Invested, and have discovered the one asset class with the greatest gains........

The others will just say " I shoulda'" when asked why they did not purchase a while back.

Whilst we would never, ever invest in Australian Collectible Cars, due to them only appealing to a small percentage of just 25 Million people, we completely understand those that do. For us, we prefer Global Collectible Cars as they appeal to the same small percentage of a World audience, making them saleable anywhere at any time with great benefit of Arbitrage. The Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III rose from $180,000 in 2005 to almost $700,000 in 2006. By 2014 that value had plummetted back to half of the 2006 figure, at just $350,000. Between 2019 and now prices have again skyrocketed to over $1 Million for these cars whilst property values grew, although our Collector contacts (who purchased 2 of the 3 sold) are very realistic in knowing that these cars will plummet again as soon as property prices plateau or drop as interest rates rise. The relatively small number of retail purchasers that adore these cars used the additional equity in their homes to purchase these cars both back in 2006, and again more recently.

Call now to discover which cars will rise at double the rate of anything you will ever read about, and remember that if you are reading about it, it has already happened !

Now Rolls Royce has just announced at Goodwood that their sales are up 49% year on year for 2021, compared to 2020.

The CEO of Rolls Royce, Torsten Müller-Ötvös did say on BBC World News that with world travel dramatically reduced as well as many people facing their own mortality, there has never been a better time to purchase something that we feel we deserve.

Bentley have also sold more cars in one year than ever before.

Happy New Year 2022.

January 1, 2022

Happy New Year 2022.

To all of our valued friends and colleagues, Happy New Year !

Following on from these amazing years of massive growth in the Collectible Cars arena, let's embrace a wonderful future.

Up 94% for Mazda's RX7 S1, 45% for the Scimitar GT as well as a 20% gain for the Volvo 240 !.

Up 94% for Mazda's RX7 S1, 45% for the Scimitar GT as well as a 20% gain for the Volvo 240 !.

As proof that a rising tide lifts all boats, even the Volvo 240 is up 20% across the past quarter.

As we all know, all Collectible Cars rise in value at some point, and so the game is all about grabbing the ones that rise the fastest, by the greatest amount. Resultantly, we purchase all the cars that we know will grow very rapidly in 3-6 months, BEFORE they end up on the list that Thoroughbred and Classic Cars Magazine so dilligently compiles from a huge range of sources.  The data on page 17 of the January, 2022 issue has just hit the shelves, and as always the information is very revealing. Whilst much of Russ Smith's report relates to the United Kingdom market, values have actually risen much, much more rapidly in Australia as well as other countries.

Notably, it is great to the that the Audi Quattro Turbo is experiencing it's third boom (up11%), after flatlining for the past two (2) years, and the Jaguar MKII 3.8 is also going the same way after it's flatline period (up18%).  Naturally, the usual drop from several cars with famous badges has continued as we have spoken of often, with the Porsche 911 Turbo (964) DOWN 10% leading the way, with the Lamborghini 350GT/400 International following close behind, with a DROP of 5.7%. That is why we move these cars onto new custodians..........fast !. Here are a couple of the statistics over the past 3 months, as reported in the magazine :

The rising Collectible Cars

Mazda RX7 Series 1                                                                           Up 94%

Hillman Hunter GLS                                                                          Up 20%

Reliant Scimitar GT SE4                                                                  Up 45%

Volvo 240                                                                                               Up 20%

It is of course too late to capitalise on the values of these cars, as they will now stop growing, and so we move on into the next 84 great Collectible Investment Cars that will boom in 6 months time.

The dropping Collectible Cars

Ferrari 250 GT Cabrio S1                                                                 Down 4.1%

Mercedes Benz SLK 230K                                                               Down 5.9%

Lamborghini 350                                                                               Down 5.7%

Porsche 911 Turbo (964)                                                                Down 10%
